Thirty seconds. That's the time between clicking into your skis and standing on Great Eastern Trail. No shuttles. No parking lots. No dragging gear through hotel lobbies. Open the ski room door and go.

This cabin is one of the rare Killington homes with true ski-in/ski-out access on Great Eastern. The lower level ski room has cubbies for boots, hooks for jackets, and storage for every piece of gear your group brought. Ski out in the morning before the crowds hit K-1. Return at lunch for soup by the fire. Head back out. Come home to find the hot tub already warm.

The Cabin

Three floors of hand-hewn log construction filled with antiques collected over decades. The great room rises two stories under an antler chandelier. Floor-to-ceiling windows face the slope. The stone fireplace burns real wood.

The farmhouse dining table seats ten. The granite kitchen island adds six more. Two coffee stations because mornings matter. A six-burner gas range with commercial hood for cooking real meals, not just reheating takeout.

This is not a rental that feels like a rental. The master bed is two 16th century European antiques joined into a California king. The fireplaces have iron tools and real logs, not gas switches. The details were chosen, not ordered from a catalog.

Four bedrooms across three levels. Four full bathrooms. No waiting in line.

• Master Suite (Upper Level): California king made from two joined 16th century antiques. Private wood-burning fireplace. Balcony access. Spa bathroom with marble floors, soaking tub, glass-enclosed shower, double vanity.


• Adirondack Room (Upper Level): Queen bed plus twin. Log furniture and ski cabin details. Ideal for a parent with kids or siblings sharing.


• White Room (Upper Level): Full bed with private balcony. Bright and airy with cottage details. Shares a full bathroom with the Adirondack Room.


• Oak Room (Main Level): Queen bed with en-suite bathroom. Warm wood tones throughout. No stairs required.

Recovery & Entertainment

• Hot Tub: Six-person hot tub on the deck. What your legs need after a full day on Superstar.


• Cedar Sauna: Seats four. Lower level, steps from the ski room.


• Spa Bathroom: The master bath earns its own mention. Marble floors, soaking tub, glass-enclosed shower.


• Game Room: Pool table, vintage arcade game, popcorn machine. A separate TV room for when the kids need their own space.


• Fitness Room: Spin bike, free weights, exercise equipment.

Location

Slopeside Cabin sits directly on Great Eastern Trail in Killington, Vermont. Ski-in/ski-out access to Killington Resort, the largest ski area in Eastern North America.

Drive times (for non-ski days):

• K-1 Lodge: ~5 minutes


• Killington Access Road restaurants: ~7 minutes


• Rutland (groceries, supplies): ~25 minutes

True ski-in/ski-out homes on Great Eastern don't come up often. Check the calendar and see if your dates are open.

Notes

• The hot tub is included for the peak ski season weekends (late-December to mid-March). For other periods, there is an optional $195 set up fee. You understand that use of the hot tub is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the hot tub, and hold owner and property manager harmless.


• Our minimum rental age is 25.


• We will provide you with door codes for our smart locks for contactless check in and out. 


• We have some flexibility around our standard check in and check out times depending on other bookings. Guaranteed early check in or late check out may be available for an additional charge.


• Our entire home is non-smoking (e-cigs included). You may only smoke on the outdoor deck. There is a $1500 fine for smoking in the house.


• You must e-sign and return our written rental agreement and amenity waiver after you complete your booking.


• For your safety and ours, we have a camera on the house pointed at the driveway which records all the time. Cameras are not in any of the living areas.


• Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. We may use Minut, smart home technology that measures volume levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. If you have any questions, please ask. We are committed to your comfort so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.


• Fireworks are not permitted.


• Winter weather is unpredictable. We do not offer weather-related refunds and recommend purchasing travel insurance for any unforeseen events. All wheel drive and winter tires are also recommended.
